About Amy

I am originally from San Diego, CA, and I moved to Seattle in the early 1990's. I attended Ashmead College of Massage Therapy in 2002, where I graduated with honors. In addition to my strong foundation in therapeutic injury treatment work, I am adept at Deep Tissue treatment work. I have CEU's (continuing Education Units) in several modalities; Hawaiian hot stone, myofascial release, pregnancy massage, Thai (both full body & foot), Fire Cupping, Lomi-Lomi( a full body Hawaiian massage), and more!
In 2022, I completed a reflexology apprenticeship, and am now also a certified reflexologist!
I began my career at Ummelina day spa in Seattle in 2003, and have been in private practice since 2005, in both Washington & California. I have worked in massage clinics in Olympia, doing insurance related treatment and automobile injuries. I have worked in numerous settings; acupuncture, chiropractic, and hotel/spa settings. I held an instructor position at BodyMechanics School in Olympia, where I taught Kinesiology and also Massage Theory & Practice. I love massage therapy and I do receive bodywork on a regular basis, I believe it's one of the best things we can do for our health!

Did You Know?

Massage Therapists are required by the state of WA to take 24 hours of continuing education units (CEU’s) every 2 years? This includes: 8 hours of hands- on training, 4 hours of ethics &  12 hours of in-person or online training.
I have been licensed in WA since 2003! I have 20 years of experience! That’s a lot of CEU’s!
